Pocahontas grew up with her father in a very wooded area- a place where large redwood trees were abundant. Growing up so close to nature, Pocahontas developed a sort of passion for the earth and all that lived on it. She had a great respect for the animals and the plants, and was quick to stop any animal abuse she saw. As a girl, her mother passed away, leaving her and her father alone. Granted, Pocahontas tries not to let that bother her. She was close with her father and her grandmother, Willow, and that was enough for her.
Along with being respectful of the earth, Pocahontas was a very kind girl, showing love to everyone she met. She hates the idea that just because people are different, they don’t deserve to be loved and respected. She fights for her causes, and will rarely give up on them. She is a stubborn girl, with good morals. But will the town change her? Now that she’s moved away from her father and her grandmother, will her values fade away?
